A day to celebrate and remember all that has been achieved for women’s rights and raise awareness on the persisting gender equality gap. In a utopian world, such a day would not be needed. Unfortunately, there are still many issues to be addressed when it comes to women’s rights : the society’s view of women, the gender gap on access to jobs, gender wage gap, domestic violence, the mental load, etc… (So many that I couldn’t list them all and those issues may vary from one part of the world to another…).
However this is a great opportunity to share our knowledge on some of them.
This is a nice comic from few years ago done by a young French artist on the “mental load“.
